Maryann Allen serves as the Community Outreach Coordinator at Christian Outreach Center, where her unwavering dedication to service, faith, and community has made a profound impact on the lives of children, families, and individuals in need. With a heart for outreach and a passion for meeting people where they are, she is committed to bringing hope, encouragement, and the love of Christ to the Pinellas County community.
Born and raised in Polk County, Florida, Maryann split her time between Pinellas and Polk County, experiencing both the tranquility of the countryside and the peace of the beach. Her childhood was filled with adventures—exploring swamps, enjoying farm life, and soaking up the Florida sunshine alongside her siblings. These early experiences fostered a deep love for animals, a love that continues to bring her joy today.
Faith is the foundation of Maryann’s life. Her mornings begin with quiet time with Jesus and a cup of coffee, a cherished routine that strengthens her spirit for the work ahead. Her journey with House of Hope Church began in 2022 where she experienced a transformative season of spiritual growth and discipleship under the guidance of Pastor Tim Marshick. It was through this journey that she met her husband, Pastor D.C. Allen, the Outreach Pastor at House of Hope. Together, they share a passion for serving others, strengthening families, and spreading the message of God’s love.
Maryann and her husband are actively engaged in outreach ministries, including providing meals for the homeless at Pinellas Hope and offering support to those in need throughout the community. Her heart for ministry is deeply connected to empowering women, particularly those who have faced challenges similar to her own. She believes that through faith, support, and encouragement, every woman can find healing, strength, and a renewed sense of purpose.
Her journey at Christian Outreach Center began in the kitchen, where she found immense joy in nourishing children with warm, comforting meals each morning. What started as a role behind the scenes quickly grew into something much greater—a calling to connect with the children on a deeper level, to offer them a safe and loving environment, and to share the unwavering love of God with them. Today, as Community Outreach Coordinator, she continues to pour her heart into this ministry, ensuring that every child and family served by Christian Outreach Center experiences kindness, support, and the life-changing power of faith.
Maryann’s love for serving extends beyond her ministry work. She is passionate about cooking and hospitality, creating warm and welcoming spaces where people can gather in fellowship and feel at home. Whether it’s through preparing meals, leading outreach efforts, or mentoring women on their faith journeys, she finds deep fulfillment in living a life dedicated to God’s purpose.
Her mission is clear: to serve, to uplift, and to walk alongside those in need with love, humility, and faith. Through her work at Christian Outreach Center, she continues to be a guiding light in the community, reminding others that no one is beyond God’s grace and that true transformation begins with faith, connection, and a heart willing to serve.
